When the 2019 Marion Bermuda Race starts June 14, the Founders Division boats will be sailing under a unique, new “anti-bias” adjustment of the ORR handicap system. The adjustment designed by race organizers in collaboration with the Offshore Racing Association (ORA) should remove the bias against faster boats by eliminating the “Parking Lot” effect.

Join us on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 for an enjoyable evening of camaraderie honoring visiting Bermudians and yachtsmen at Beverly Yacht Club. Festivities begin at 1800 with a cocktail reception followed by welcoming speeches and a buffet style dinner. Reservations must be received by Monday, June 10.
After the Skipper's meeting on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 1800, Beverly Yacht Club will host a crew grill, picnic style supper sponsored by Gosling's Rums for all crew, families and friends - a casual, fun time. Cash Bar. Gosling's rum, drinks are $3.00.
Reservations are NOT required for the prize-giving June 22nd 1800 at the Marina. The After Party is June 22nd at 2000 on the tennis court. Price is $85.00 per person gratuities inclusive. Children under 16 yrs. $42.00.
ORR Rating Application
The Marion Bermuda Race requires that each yacht entering the race have a valid ORR Rating certificate from US Sailing. The process is different based upon whether you are renewing a past certificate or applying for a new one.
